Now this song lies close to my heart. The Shins are one of the most consistent bands I have ever stumbled upon in the inner tubes that are the internet. I could listen to them forever. But quite possibly my favorite song would have to be 'Sleeping Lessons'. the message in this song is something that I am consistently preoccupied with (as you may know from reading my other blog) and is about breaking free of the confines set out by society. Now, although it starts out a little strangely, skip to the 0:54 mark for the pick up in guitar of 2:18 for the real pick up. Enjoy. and please excuse the horrible quality.
